The aim is to influence public policy through partnerships and evidence-based innovations and practices. The 2016-2020 Strategic Plan sets three Strategic Objectives for Carnegie UK's work:
- Be a recognised leader in wellbeing and its links to public policy
- Be a champion for sharing learning between all jurisdictions of the UK and Ireland
- Make working across the public, private and voluntary sector more normal and valued
einleitung
Part of the Carnegie Worldwide Trust, Carnegie UK is located in Dunfermline (Scotland), the hometown of its founder Andrew Carnegie, the Scottish-American industrialist. Its main programme of work in the UK currently centres around 'wellbeing'. The Trust has been influential in setting up a national wellbeing strategie in Scotland as well as Northern Ireland.
