The NDF is not only a think tank, but a think tank network. It publishes articles and studies, organizes conferences and lectures, e.g. the annual congress of free market think tanks "European Ressource Bank". Studies, published by the NDF, are partly or entirely conducted by partners belonging to the network. Margaret Thatcher, former British Prime Minister, is the partroness of the NDF. The think tank is run by a four-member managemnt team and a five-member supervisory board. The NDF staff consists of six employees. The NDF is a foundation at European level and for that reason receives funding from the European Parliament. The NDF’s audit report, which is mandatory according to EU law, indicates with a total sum of 399,781€ a much lower financial support by EU organs.
